If your nephew never manually saved, then you can load the manual save slot and it should be your original save, but otherwise it is all gone. This just happened to me as well. 1 large tomato on the vine. 1 green bell pepper, sliced. 1 can sliced black olives. In a cup, combine 2 tbsp of sugar & 2 tsp of instant yeast. Add in your warm water, and set aside to allow yeast to bloom for 10 minutes. The sugar is great to have in the water as the yeast likes to eat on the sugars. Even with 15 hearts and a fully upgraded armor set you're still one-shotted by the same mobs from the beginning of the game, guess you need 40 hearts to make the game even close to fair. It only reduces a certain amount of damage (evidently 7 hearts), if you're getting hit by anything that deals less than 7 hearts, you won't take any damage and just lose rupees.
